RECD Carbon Cutter Working principle
- The RECD (Carbon Cutter) is installed after the Silencer .No modification to the exhaust is required
- Flue gas enters the Carbon Cutter and comes in contact with “Corona” field around electrode.
- Due to the high voltage across electrode, the surface charge of the PM is nulpfied, and PM particles get attracted to electrodes (wall) of opposite charge
- Also the size of the PM increases beyond PM 10 in the process.
- The agglomerated PM is collected in powder form and is available for reuse as Ink, graphite particles etc.
